Community Action Tour Stop | Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach

The YMCA Center for Healthy Living’s Community Action Tour Team travels across Pennsylvania educating local communities about essential health information, providing health screenings and services, and distributing resources to those in need. This tour is made possible through our partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

At each tour stop, vital health resources such as test kits, hygiene kits, clothing, food, and more are offered to members of the community. Our Community Action Tour Team also partners with local organizations to arrange on-site health screenings and vaccinations at select events.

The goal of the Community Action Tour is to provide important resources that can enable our community members to live successfully day-to-day while reaching all Pennsylvanians through partnerships with local YMCAs statewide and community-based organizations. Additionally, the Community Action Tour aims to connect community members to local resources so they can maintain a relationship and have continued access to the resources they need.
